The third FST event is about to start! On July 18, 2023, the six best student racing teams in the country will be gathered at the Lihpao Karting Track. Student cars that have passed the security inspection on July 16 and 17 will be able to go on the track for time trial and endurance test. This is the most technically difficult student racing car in Taiwan. Six teams from National Taiwan University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Cheng Kung University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Science and Technology and Pingtung University of Science and Technology signed up to participate.

This year’s Formula Student competition will be open to the public on July 18. If you sign up, you can enter the Lihpao Circuit for free. The highlights of the day were the time trial (Autocross) in the morning and the endurance race (Endurance) in the afternoon. The time trial is the precursor to the endurance race and is used to distinguish between fast and slow teams. In endurance races, in addition to vehicle speed, vehicle durability is the key to success or failure.
The racing teams established by various colleges and universities in Taiwan are still in the development stage. The Formula Student competition encourages young people to invest in the development and manufacturing of vehicles. This year, it received support from Yan Qingling Industrial Development Foundation and Yulon Group, and also cooperated with Gongfeng Enterprise and Tianhe Education Foundation Cooperate with many other industries, and actively invest in forward-looking engineering technology research and development and talent cultivation in Taiwan's industry.
People who are interested in the vehicle industry should not miss the industry dialogue after the opening ceremony. The competition specially invited Zheng Xiancong, CEO of MIH Open Electric Vehicle Alliance, and Qian Jingwu, deputy general manager of Yulon Group, to appear at Lihpao Circuit to communicate with the participants. .

On the 18th, the exhibition area will showcase NISSAN X-TRAIL e-POWER, China Linli Electric Vehicle E300, several electric motorcycles under eMOVING, and Honghua's advanced Model C. The racing team has also cooperated with Honghua Advanced. Model T electric buses will be used as shuttle buses, with one bus in the morning and one in the afternoon, to connect people to and from Taichung High Speed Rail Station and Lihpao Circuit.
In addition, this year you will have the opportunity to see the "FILO New Shared Light Vehicle" from the Department of Industrial Design of National Cheng Kung University in the exhibition area. Driving by yourself
Navigate to Taichung Lihpao International Circuit, park your vehicle in the "Yingbin Building Parking Lot", then walk from the L floor of the Yingbin Building, through the first floor of the event building, to the main venue (open space next to the Karting Building).
train transfer
